I was going to post this on Instagram, but decided to publish it here. My words, my photo. Song by Doug Ashdown

#winter
… where nature is colourless, it seems.
The cold air contains old memories of summer and warmth and blissfull times – but doesn’t hold them.
Time however holds it all, and with its flow adds colours again, and growth, and the scent of the new good times ahead, times filled with fresh plans, old hopes and new, bold expectations and love. Much love. And smiles, not frozen by the frosty air, but unclouded, airy and easy.
Winter is the time between past endings and oncoming beginnings. Winter is free float, a time between things, a peak and a turning point. Winter is a place in time to pause for a while, and then start anew.
Just that.
I added this song, not only because it is about winter (in America or wherever, the place is rather coincidental), but because it reminds me of good times from the past. This is a song I go back in time with and smile while shutting out the negative people and vibes of this world.
