Well, we don’t talk and see each other very often, but to me it seems as if I’d known him forever. There are people, who think that he’s a grumpy unfriendly man; to me though he’s one of the most friendly and kindest souls I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. His face shows. To me he looks kind. He’s one of the few people who ever spoke the magic words “Let me peel an apple for you”, one of the greatest comforts I know – someone peeling an apple for me (or making a cup of tea, that’s just another cosy thing to do). Holger is one of those people who will cycle beside you, because you walk too fast for them, but they want to accompany you nontheless. Also he is a bloody damn fine musician and guitar player. A decent character and funny he is, too. I just love him, and I am glad to call him my friend. I’m blessed with friends anyway. I really am. I do love you all, you know who you are :o) x
