Photo No 5 – Black And White (Lights Out In Cologne)

Today the Cologne cathedral, along with many other churches, bridges, museums and other public buildings turned off their lights as a symbolic rejection to an Anti-Islamification march taking place in the city’s shadow. Cologne is a colourful, tolerant place and the counter demonstration had about 20.000 participants, whereas the fatuous xenophobes were only 800. Hopefully they got the message.

Two more images because it was a memorable sight. I wish I had brought a better camera.
