The Sea In Winter Is Lovely, Too

It’s not winter yet, I know, but soon it will be and since the air is pretty cold already I thought the headline is fine. Besides, the sea is always lovely, whether it’s winter or autumn or some grey season time, the sea does not care for seasons, it’s just beautiful, it really is.
Anyway.
I had a lovely relaxing weekend. Saturday was unspectacularly peaceful and nice, and on Sunday I took another training course for the Tour de Mulled Vino in December, cycling from Luebeck to a beautiful spot by the Baltic sea (where my bike was baptised) and via Travemuende back to Luebeck. The weather was a mix of grey clouds, rain, hail and immense head wind (6 Bft. N), but thankfully lots of sunshine, too, with a gorgeous sunset. It just got a little cold at the end, around 1 – 3 °C, and a mulled vino break plus tons of warm clothes were much needed. But now I know I can cycle longer distances in winter weather and that is a good thing. I feel prepared for the things to come :o)
Below are a couple of images from our tour.
