Autumn Has Holes

… daft title you think. You may be right. Anyway I had a good time today taking photos of a holey leaf, and I had even more of a good time cycling through the autumnly woods, a huge nature reserve named Duvenstedter Brook. I go there a lot because, as beautiful as this forrest is, it really creeps me out at times. It’s a pretty but spooky place, very quiet and lonely. So I usually go there, walk or cycle through, get the creeps and then I go back home, contentedly creeped out. Simple as that. And weird, I know :o)
Below are a couple of random impressions from today’s creepy woods tour. I don’t think I’ve really managed to capture the forrest’s eeriness, but you may get the idea.
