(No) Wind Of Change

So today I’d decided to go for a long walk by the river, because there’s always a lovely breeze or strong wind or whatever air movement going on, and I was looking forward to clearing my head with a bit of fresh air. Today though, there was no wind. Nada, zero, absolutely none. It was as windless as … I don’t know. I guess my breath was stronger than this mini breeze. I felt a little betrayed to be honest, but I enjoyed my walk anyway, sans wind and all. Below are some random impressions.

Red Leaves
Autumn Leaves.
Chestnut
Yes, it’s that time of the year again, where my pockets are filled with chestnuts, acorn caps and other autumnly stuff :o)

Elbe
By the river
Water's Edge

Old Sailor
The river’s busy as always, with all sorts of ships.

Franzbroetchen
Today has been a weirdly nice day, so I treated myself with a Franzbroetchen (Hamburg version of a croissant with cinnamon).
