To be able to really dig into new music I need P&Q (peace & quiet). Today I’ve been sitting in a little park full of oak trees near the water’s edge, listening to the new Tired Pony album, “The Ghost Of The Mountain“. Immediate favourite is “Ravens And Wolves”, love that one. Some songs do remind me of the early Snow Patrol stuff (“The Beginning Of The End” for example). It’s not as country-ish as their first record “The Place We Ran From“. I have to give the album a few more listens, but so far I like it a lot. I tend to ‘feel’ or sense music differently than most people but I will get to that in another posting.
Today is just another image of me, listening to good music.
