So I’m starting a new little photo project today, a pared-down version of last year’s 365+1. It’s called 30xMe and, as the title says, it will include thirty images of me, moi, Sophie – one per day, taken on the day. I’ve been thinking about that part quite some time. There will be a lot of good days but also bad days, mundane days, workaday days, stressful days and the images will show that. Of course I could post some nice shots taken on a good day where I look ‘ok’ but where’s the challenge in that?
The biggest challenge is actually that I rarely post photos of myself, because … I just don’t. It’s time to be a little brave. There are bigger things to come soon and I need to train my self-confidence for that. Starting today.

Today’s image was taken by me, on the way home from a long bicycle tour (see last post) while I was waiting at the train station for the real train to come I tried to take a photo of myself, the train station signpost and le vélo. Didn’t quite work out because of anatomical limitations – my arm’s too short.
