Everything changes all the time. That’s what makes it all so interesting. As Heraklitus put it: “Everything changes and nothing remains still… and… you cannot step twice into the same stream.”

There’s another slightly different saying about sitting by the river, if you sit there long enough you’ll see the bodies of your enemies float by.
