Lovely old tram in Frankfurt/ Oder, Germany (photographed in November 2011)

I love the sound of a tram pulling out, it’s a happy-howling noise, that gets lower the faster the tram goes. I’m not talking about the warning signal which is a ringing mostly, I mean the sound of the engine or motor or whatever it is that makes a tram keep running. Will try to record the sound next time I’m near one  :o) C* x
