“Toast” is my song moment of the day, for years it’s been sneaking into my inner jukebox (you know, the one that plays all the music in your head. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m afraid, I can’t help you) – anyway. “Toast”, the song, from  Tori Amos’s wonderful album “The Beekeeper”,  it comes to mind especially in spring, around Easter time, for what’s it worth. Tori Amos – is she not amazing? I love her haunting voice and music.

Anyway, this song, “Toast”, makes me think of a then-friend, who I’m ever thankful I got to meet and if I had the words I’d make a proper toast, along the lines of ‘ancient evenings and distant music’ – lately you’ve been on my mind and still I think your long hair was fabulous. Cheers. xx
