Part 1 (sometime after Midnight)
Welcome to the month of December, the month that is filled with pre-Christmas busy-ness such as baking/ eating cookies galore, pondering about Christmas presents for friends & family (and buying them last minute), drinking loads of mulled wine (it’s all to the good health of Santa) and (see my previous post) opening a door (well, they’re bags not doors but it sounds weird to open a bag every day hence I’ll stick with good old door …) of my Advent calendar every day.
But – does a day start right at 12 am or rather after the first cup of tea in the morning? Normally I’d go with the second option or, to be precise, the date starts at 12 am and the day begins with a cup of tea. Or during. Or after. Whatever. I’m bad with timing so don’t expect me to say it’s between the third and seventh sip of Darjeeling. There are no bells that ring or jingles playing in my head. It just happens. One minute I’m just out of the warm cosiness of my bed and a few moments later I’ve finished half a cup of tea and and stuff like ‘today is Thursday’, ‘I better hurry because work waits’ etc spring to mind. Anyway. Right now it’s after 12 am, it’s the 1st December and I can’t sleep so I’ll take a peek.
3 flowery pinboard needles. Nice.
Part 2 – 1st edit to add:
I forgot to publish this last night. It’s the morning now, I just had my first cup of tea and in the pale light of day I’m figuring that most of the written above is a load of crap. I hope door #2 is more inspiring. Have a lovely day y’all. C* x
Part 3 – 2nd edit to add:
Right after hitting the publish-button the WordPress robot informed me that “This is your 25th published post. Tight! This post has 329 words.” Oh yay. This is like assisted living for those with a blocked writer’s mind (see my ‘About Me’) or calorie counting for those on a diet (in a way I am) or whatever, it’s still too early to come up with a prize metaphor.
Curtain. The End.
